Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, you can return or exchange almost anything within 30 days of purchase, no questions asked. You will pay return shipping unless an extenuating circumstance applies, please see Damaged & Broken Items for more information.
Custom pieces for which material has been special ordered (gold, platinum, diamonds, etc) are not eligible for refunds or returns due to the non-refundable cost associated with procuring the material.
I take pride in my work and want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If your piece is faulty (ie. has a broken clasp or stones fell out) you have the option of a return, replacement or repair within 30 days of delivery. If it's a minor inconvenience rather than a dealbreaker, I will refund you 50% of the purchase price.
In the unlikely event of an item being damaged during shipping, I will work with you to make it right. This only applies to the item you purchased, not the external packaging. Unfortunately, I do not have control of a mail carrier tossing the box over a fence and denting it.
If the item is damaged due to an accident, I can do my best to repair it for a fee. You will pay shipping both ways in this case. Please send an email to info@oncebittenjewelry.com with photos of the damage.
Because of the nature of my work, some rings are difficult or impossible to re-size. Please send an email to info@oncebittenjewelry.com to discuss the options pertaining to your piece.
If your ring is the correct size ordered, but it does not fit how you would like it to I offer resizing or reworking for a fee on designs that are able to be altered. You can also make a return or exchange for a different item. In this case, you would pay shipping both ways.
If your ring measures the wrong size, I will resize or recreate it for free and pay shipping both ways.
Discounts cannot be applied to past or future orders outside of the active promotion timeframe, no exceptions.
